A study visit does not. The protocol specifies which procedures are performed, in what order, and within what time constraints. A pre-dose blood pressure taken after the dose is pharmacologically compromised. A trough drug level drawn 90 minutes before dosing instead of within the specified 30-minute window may not be analyzable. An ECG performed before instead of after the dose misses the safety assessment the protocol intended.
