eTMF quality review processes
Implement quality review workflows that ensure documents are complete, accurate, appropriately indexed, and meet organizational quality standards.
The queue that tells a story
It is 7:42 AM on a Tuesday in early November, and Jennifer Nakamura settles into her workstation at Westlake Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her first task each morning is the same: review the eTMF quality control queue for the COMPASS-3 trial. Forty-seven documents await her attention, uploaded overnight by sites across three time zones and by colleagues finishing late the previous evening.
Jennifer has been an eTMF quality specialist for four years. In that time, she has learned something that newer colleagues often miss: the QC queue tells a story. Not just about individual documents, but about the health of the trial's documentation processes. A queue full of consent forms with missing dates tells her something different than a queue full of monitoring reports with incorrect artifact classifications. The patterns matter as much as the individual findings.
